In short, this properly configured system delivers scale, body, and presence—it is emotionally and physically felt and not heard; you are there!

Our journey began with many visits, flying from Seattle to support our Boston area client and his architectural digest audio-designed purpose room. This assembly included making friends with brands not currently in our source and speaker domain roster.

The all-digital system includes Baach, CEC CD transport, Antipodes server, and the wonderful-sounding Stenheim Ultime 3 with an external active crossover in a Stenheim partnership with CH Precision. The Stenhiems included a motorized baffle for tuning—to use a New England term, this was “Wicked Sick”!

Our go-to is CH Precision, which includes the L10 4-box preamp and a pair of M10 monoblocks that amplify the signal while maintaining musicality, sweetness, scale, and grip!

Our belief is “Power is What You Hear,” so our client chose the Audio-Ultra AU3000 MKII rack-mounted AC power panel to reduce the noise floor to spooky levels and StromTank for a perfect sinewave to the source components. Cables from Audioquest and Turnbull enhanced the signal even further and made it easily distinguishable.
