The WADAX Studio Player is a digital controller with a sonic signature similar to that of the WADAX Atlantis Reference, thanks in part to the unique musIC feed-forward error correction process that removes jitter at the receipt of the signal. What is the musIC process?

The digital controller serves multiple functions: it acts as a streamer, a volume controller—eliminating the necessity for a preamplifier—and a CD/SACD player. Product specifications are found here. 

Streaming from the media source application has proven in our listening tests to enhance sound quality. Both streaming and silver discs render a beautiful presentation highlighting voices and instruments’ spatiality, texture, body, and weight.

The newly introduced [R]evolution combines a DAC/Streamer/CDSACD player with an optional outboard clock and power supply at a third of the cost of Atlantis Reference.

Further sonic improvements can be made with the Atlantis Reference DAC and Server by adding Akasa USB and DC Cables along with the Reference Atlantis Outboard power supply.

WADAX designed the Atlantis Reference for field updates thanks to the card cage design, as well as updating software via the ethernet, making a WADAX investment future-proof.

Cage construction allows boards to be easily updated in the field and software upgrades over the internet.
