  • The 4Point construction includes a zero-play bearing configured on 4 points.  The 4Point tonearm has an effective length of 280mm (11-inch), an exact VTA adjustment facility, and fits a Kuzma standard mount 212mm pivot-to-spindle distance.  The heart of this new design is the unique 4-point bearing. Two points (similar to a uni-pivot bearing) allow and control vertical movements of the tonearm. The other set of two bearings allows and controls the tonearm's horizontal (lateral) movements.  All four points of the bearing have minimal friction and zero play in all planes of movement, thus ensuring that the cartridge platform and the cartridge itself follow the grooves of an LP with extremely low friction and minimal vibrations. 4POINT’s main section is firmly connected to a very rigid and inert VTA tower, which allows fine adjustments of the vertical tracking angle when the tonearm is stationary or while the LP is playing.  All this, of course, without any loss of rigidity and with 0.01mm adjustment accuracy with zero play! The arm also includes two removable headshells that are designed with rigidity intact. From Edward: Recent events using a two-arm table allowed us to compare the differences between the 4Point and the Stogi 313 with VTA tower using Ortofon Bronze cartridges on each arm tied into one source. The 6-panel verdict that included two non-audiophiles was that the delta was vast upwards of half.

  • The 4Point 9 is two inches shorter than the 4Point tonearm. Its 9-inch length and lack of VTA tower make this tonearm lighter and smaller, thus capable of fitting on most suspended turntables. The 4Point 9 is constructed with sapphire/ruby cup bearings and a detachable headshell. From Edward: I have first-hand experience mounting this arm on the Stabi S and Stabi R with excellent results! The tonearm's job is to get out of the way of the cartridge, and the 4Point 9 arm does a good job of that. 
  • The A1 bookshelf loudspeaker features a fully braced aluminum enclosure, beryllium dome tweeter, carbon Nanographene cone, and our renowned elliptical crossover. The A1 enclosure is constructed using 3⁄8” thick 6061 T6 aircraft grade aluminum, similar to the enclosure developed for the Q1 and is available in an elegant brushed-aluminum, black anodized finish. The complete enclosure design of the A1 is evaluated in simulation using the latest FEA software along with physical testing to meet the uncompromising requirements of Magico for optimized enclosure rigidity, stability and to ensure benchmark acoustical standards. Featuring the same tweeter as the full range A3, the A1 utilizes a pure Beryllium-diaphragm with an optimized 28-mm dome based on the fundamental design platform and geometry of our reference M- Series tweeter. The customized neodymium motor system is encased in an improved back chamber with our latest generation damping materials that facilitate ultra-low distortion, higher power handling, massive dynamic capabilities, and extended linear voice coil movement.
  • Faced with exactly the same challenges as the M1.1, the A1.5 embodies the same sophisticated, modular and scalable approach. It might be (slightly) smaller than the M1.1 and around two-thirds of its weight, but it’s still four amplifiers in one. It still offers the same adaptable, software controlled topology, adjustable input configuration and gain, user selectable global feedback ratio and cost-effective upgrade path. It offers exactly the same, incredibly short signal path, fully discrete, fully balanced and fully complementary circuit, built with the same carefully selected components to the same exacting standards. Even the casework, although shorter, has the same footprint, uses the same construction and includes the same mechanical grounding/stacking system. In fact, in every important way, the A1.5 is, quite literally, an M1.1 writ small – or, in Hollywood terms, “Honey, I shrank the amp…”.

The massive, sealed enclosure of the A5 is formed entirely of 6061-T6 aircraft grade aluminum, the same material and construction methods as in Magico’s acclaimed Q-Series. Complex internal bracing helps stiffen the entire enclosure and minimize unwanted resonances and colorations, allowing all drivers to perform with stunning resolution and dynamics. The A5 is finished in an elegant brushed black anodized aluminum with grilles available separately as an option. “The A Series has been a great success in reaching a wider audience,” says Magico’s founder, Alon Wolf. “The A5 builds on that success with a new 5-inch midrange of extraordinary musicality. And the A5 ‘plays larger,’ with powerfully extended dynamic range.” The 9” bass drivers in the A5 feature a newly enhanced version of Magico’s Graphene Nano-Tech cones. Graphene, a hexagonal lattice of carbon and in relation to its thickness, it is about 100 times stronger than the strongest high-carbon steel. The new cone design combines Graphene layered carbon fiber with advanced new core materials to achieve the highest possible stiffness to weight ratio. Extensive computer simulation and prototype testing allows engineering to create the driver chassis frame with an ideal combination of stiffness and damping, with minimal acoustical contribution and maximized airflow. The new bass driver incorporates oversized components including a 5-inch pure Titanium voice coil and huge copper cap with ½” of linear excursion. The super-stabilized magnetic field enables the A5 to output thundering levels of bass, producing 115 dB SPL (@ 50 Hz, 1 meter), while maintaining very low distortion and inductance below 0.18 mH. Finite Element Analysis (FEA) provides Magico engineers a single platform to assess acoustical, mechanical, electromagnetic and thermal properties. This meticulous testing helps minimize distortions in the frequency and time domains.
