The Kuzma Stabi Ref 2 turntable is made from two sandwich construction aluminum plates, separated by acrylic, and clamped with stainless steel screws. The top plate, suspended by silicone oil-submerged springs with a 2.2 Hz resonance, is supported by three spikes and leveled with four knobs. The silicone suspension reservoirs seal automatically during transport. The sub-platter is powered by two motors in a diamond drive and has an inverted bearing with a ruby ball in an oil bath for lubrication and vibration damping. The platter combines aluminum's rigidity and acrylic's damping properties for stable, non-resonant record support. The mat and clamp, designed similarly to the platter, control vibrations, while the arm board uses the sandwich construction design.
