Its composite construction, with an aluminum skin and brass core, enhances vibration damping and mechanical robustness. Supported by alpha-gel isolators, the mechanism weighs 13 kg, suppressing vibrations to below 20 Hz. The precision circular level ensures exact calibration of the optical pickup, optimizing disc tracking. The motorized top-loading mechanism provides vertical access to the Disc Vault, sealed by a hybrid-action door. The D10 uses a dedicated external power supply with four galvanically isolated domains, ensuring stable, clean power. This system guarantees precise data retrieval from SACD, CD, and MQA CD optical discs, resulting in enhanced transparency, expanded soundstage, and greater low-level detail.

The D10 Reference Transport features MORSE (Mechanically Optimized Reading & Stability Enhancement) Transport, a Massive Vibration-Attenuating Structure, Precision Integrated Circular Level, and a Galvanically Isolated Power Supply Architecture with a Cascaded Dual-Chassis Power Supply and Motorized Disc Access.
