The main differences between SAT pickup arms are the metallurgy used to construct the yoke system, the headshell trim, and the diameter of the composite arm tube between the LM and CF1 series. The LM series is designed with aluminum, whereas the CF1 series incorporates stainless steel and a larger diameter conical tube. The CF1 series also offers a version incorporating titanium within the conical tube and headshell, adding mass and rigidity. Audio-Ultra purchased all three versions of the 9″ pickup arms to hear the differences between each.
