Lyra Analog continues to amaze us regarding cartridges, offering a fast, clean, and dynamic signature amongst the alternate performance selections we offer clients from Ortofon, EBI, and Kuzma.
Music Room 2 was set up to show off the TIDAL Contriva G3s, a three-way floor-standing loudspeaker. The Contriva G3s are the newest generation from TIDAL Audio and offer a fast response and dynamically rich presentation. Plus, they are gorgeous! The Contriva G3s now join the TIDAL Audio Piano G3s, which held their ground in our newest listening room, Music Room 3. TIDAL Audio’s Piano G3 loudspeakers can be externally configured in alternate passive ways, changing crossover and driver settings plus the dual port selections, allowing tuning versatility for small and large spaces. TIDAL Audio’s loudspeakers impressed everyone at our event, whether in an all-TIDAL Audio system in Music Room 2 or blended with Swiss-manufactured CH Precision electronics in Music Room 3.

We would also like to emphasize the importance of not only equipment selection but also proper installation and setup, which defines the value of choosing an established dealer. In our experience, finding an optimal balance between cost, quality, and service can be a complex task, and you can often only pick two. We strongly recommend that you exercise due diligence in your decision-making process, considering that time and money are substantial assets.
Product Highlights
Isolate, Isolate, Isolate! The Seismion Reactio 2 active isolation platform was placed under the AU3000 portable subpanel and did its job to mitigate vibration. Upon depressing the control button, attendees heard the noise floor collapse. Then, upon activation, the noise floor quickly rebuilt itself, presenting a more apparent, more dynamic transient and a greater soundstage. This sonically proves by all in attendance the importance of AC power, or more straightforward context, “Power Is What You Hear”. Whether under a product like Audio-Ultra’s UL-certified AU3000 or resting below other brands of conditioners and external power like StromTank. In the weeks ahead, we look forward to using Seismion under the Audioquest 5000/7000, and speaking of the Audioquest 7000, I wanted to let you know we can make great deals on the Niagara 7000 as well as cable trade-up programs into Mythical Series status. Audio-Ultra is 1 of 36 authorized and qualified dealers to sell the Audioquest Mythical Creatures line of products.
As mentioned, isolation makes a difference! We recently heard the positive impact of mechanical isolation after we refreshed isolation stands using Critical Mass Systems Black Diamond Line of platforms under the CH Precision M10 Monoblock amplifiers. This approach was repeated with our new isolation racks from Austrian brand FalkenOhr, makers of audio-grade furniture without compromising function in regards to isolating against airborne and mechanical vibration all while breaking away from the traditional audio grade design. FalkenOhr’s 317 single and 516 triple comprehensive rack systems and amplifier isolation bases are displayed in our listening rooms. These items can be ordered in any shelf configuration, including heights, accessories, drawers, and paint finish.
The world-recognized Göbel High-End brand and its new offering, the Divin Comtesse, will expand their footprint in America soon after this message. This will complete a selection of three offerings between Göbel, Magico, and TIDAL—all different in their approach and all great sounding!
The much-awaited Göbel Divin Comtesse will be the first pair in the country. Like all our selections, we will ultrasize a fantastic presentation, building on the excitement we heard at HI End Munich 2024, which will now be held in Vienna, Austria, come 2026 – a nice change!
